GMP Policy

Arat Company has adapted "Good Manufacturing Practices" in order to support the vision of the company which is to provide high quality products that meets the customers requirements.

During the manufacture of Arat products, the company places the highest priority on the safety and health of the consumers of our products and as such, places the highest emphasis on ensuring that each product has the correct identity, quality and characteristics that it purports, or is represented, to possess.

Some of our GMP policies are:

It is the responsibility of all involved personnel at any level to apply this policy and to act immediately if a risk of violating this policy is detected.

GMO Policy

GMO Statement

 1. It is the over-riding policy of Arat Company that it will be fully compliant with the legislative environment governing Genetically Modified Organisms.

2. It is the policy of Arat Company to give a clear indication of the GMO status of all the products which it supplies within the context of the regulatory framework, and particularly with reference to Regulations (EC) No. 1829/2003 and 1830/2003.

3. It is the policy of Arat Company that the products which it supplies will be free from Genetically Modified Organisms.

The company will aim to supply product which does not contain genetically modified ingredients (including sub-ingredients, including processing aids). The company will carry out detailed investigations with its suppliers to ensure that GMO sources are not utilized, and that the products or ingredients which are used in our products are not from genetically modified material.

Where a product is produced from a GMO sensitive ingredient (e.g. maize), the company will ensure that the ingredient used comes from a secure source.

The company will aim to ensure that its manufacturer suppliers will maintain detailed records and observe strict traceability procedures for ingredients of a sensitive GMO status. Such companies should hold an external accreditation such as ISO9000.
