Iranian Green Raisins are derived from grapes under the scientific name of Vitis Venerate variety. This vine tree type is a local Iranian type which is famous for it's special sweet and sour taste and its long lenght. This product is also known as Pekami Raisins or Kashmar Raisins.

The grapes are sun-dried in order to convert into raisin then bleached in order to maintain their green / amber color. Each 4 kilograms of grapes produces 1 Kilogram of green raisins.

All the way through this process, Arat’s QC team has an accurate supervision on the production process and carried out various tests on the product on different stages of production.
Green Raisins is coated with appropriate vegetable oil in order to maintain the shelf life of the product and ensuring “free flowing” of the goods.
Availability
Green Raisins is available all through the year. It should be considered that the total crop of green raisins is limited as it is less approximately 15,000 metric Tons.
Harvesting Time
Green Raisins is usually harvested at the end of September each year. It is then loaded on the racks in order to dry. (Rack Drying method) The first shipments are available by mid October.
The color of the Green Raisins is close to yellow/green to amber.
